Planetclimbing is a feed aggregation site for climbing related content.

What kind of feeds do you aggregate?

We currently aggregate feeds from blogs, news-sites, Flickr, Youtube, Vimeo etc. We try to support all interesting feeds with climbing related content.

Use the Suggest a feed box on the right. The feed will be reviewed by our editors before being added to the site.

What turns up on the front page?

Right now it's up to our editors promote interesting content to the frontpage. Latest content from all aggregated feeds is available under Everything.

Why create a user? How do I create a user?

If you sign in (we recommend you use an existing identity from Google, Facebook, Yahoo! etc) you can create your own feed with your favorite feeds and tags.

Yes.

What technologies are you using?

Is this a commercial project?

No, although we'll probably need some sort of sponsoring to cover the cost of servers and bandwith. So expect some discrete advertising on the site in the future.
